現代美術界で重要な賞の一つである「ターナー賞」を2000年に受賞し、ロンドンとドイツを拠点として活動するドイツ人フォトグラファー、ヴォルフガング・ティルマンス（Wolfgang Tillmans）の作品集。本書は、2012年から2013年にかけてストックホルム近代美術館（スウェーデン）、ノルトライン＝ヴェストファーレン州立美術館（ドイツ）での個展「Wolfgang Tillmans」開催に伴い刊行。展覧会は約20年分の写真作品が展示され、当時作家にとっては過去最大規模のものであった。本書は、その展覧会でインスタレーションの一部として会場に設置され、来場者にのみ配布されたことから、一般市場では長らく入手が出来なかった貴重な1冊。
German photographer, Wolfgang Tillmans produced an artist book especially for his one of the largest exhibition in 2012, at Moderna Museet in Stockholm. The exhibition was Wolfgang Tillmans’ largest exhibition to date and brings nearly two decades of picture-making to a new audience. The book was a part of Tillmans’ installation there and distributed to all visitors to the exhibition.
